This kimono draws from a sleeping figure in Albert Joseph Moore's "Lillies," paired with dreamscape elements sourced from three centuries of art. Inspiration spans the Boboli Gardens, Argyle House in Scotland, the Tiber River, a Japanese manor house, and views through the Roman Colosseum's arches. The chandelier motif references a 1632 drawing, while the trim echoes an English textile from 1785. A celebration of the dreamworlds we all inhabit.
